The Greatest Generations Foundation Teams up with Shop Local for a Cause

The NALA (http://www.theNALA.com), launches Shop Local for a Cause, a campaign supporting local businesses and championing important causes. Shop Local for a Cause is partnering with veteran service organization, The Greatest Generations Foundation (http://www.tggf.us) to celebrate veterans on Saturday, August 18th at the NALA’s participating businesses throughout the country.

Billy D'z Backyard BBQ will offer 20 percent off purchases Aug. 18 as part of the
nationwide Shop Local for Vets campaign.
Visitors who come to 765 N. Wendy Drive and mention the campaign will receive the
discount that day. Billy D'z will pledge a 10 percent donation of Shop Local for a
Cause sales to the Greatest Generations Foundation.

A good example of a shopping day fundraiser in action is a Shop Local for a Cause from the National
Association of Local Advertisers (NALA) that will benefit The Greatest Generation Foundation. NALA is giving
small businesses all the tools they need to host a shopping day event on August 18, 2012. Below is an

PALM HARBOR – East Lake Café, at 3430 East Lake Road, Suites 3 and 4, will participate in
the National Association of Local Advertisers Shop Local for Vets event Saturday, Aug. 18.
On that day, East Lake Café diners will receive 10 percent off all purchases. East Lake Café
will give 10 percent of the day’s proceeds to the cause The Greatest Generations
Foundation.
